The communities of Corfeyhone, Ballyhaise, and County Cavan are mourning the tragic passing of James Coyle, whose untimely death has brought profound sorrow to his family, friends, teammates, colleagues, and all who knew and loved him.
James is deeply mourned by his heartbroken mother, Majella, his brother Liam, and his sisters Eleanor and Eimear. He was predeceased by his beloved father, Brian, whose memory remained close to James and his family throughout the years.
Remembered as a kind-hearted, caring, and much-loved young man, James leaves behind a legacy of friendship, loyalty, and compassion. Those who knew him speak of his warm personality, generous spirit, and the genuine way he connected with people. Whether among family, friends, teammates, or colleagues, James had a way of making others feel valued and supported.
His passing has also left a deep void for his extended family, including his loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and the many friends who were privileged to share in his life. Special mention has been made of his close friends Cian, Shane, Ned, and Abby, whose bond with James reflected the deep friendships he built throughout his life. His work colleagues and teammates will also remember him with great affection and respect.
As family and friends gather to celebrate James’s life, they will remember not only the sadness of his passing but also the joy, laughter, and cherished memories he brought into their lives. Though his life ended far too soon, the love he shared and the lives he touched will remain a lasting source of comfort.
James will repose at his family home (H12 P7F8), with family and close friends gathering on Tuesday evening before the home opens on Wednesday to all who wish to pay their respects. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Brigid’s Church, Laragh, on Thursday at 12:00 noon, followed by burial in Drung Cemetery. The Mass will also be available to view online for those unable to attend in person.
